Some Pellet Smokers lack smoke flavour in their meats as they primarily burn Pellets for heat, and only generate intermittent smoke. That famous thin Blue Smoke is just heat, flavoursome smoke is actually White, and as long as it gets out, it will flavour your meat and leave a caramel smoke colour on BBQ walls, but if it doesn’t get out easily it creates a sticky black bitter coating. Cold Smoking is done with white smoke.

TO ADD EXTRA SMOKE FLAVOUR:-Add 6 hrs of constant smoke by laying a Smoke Tube full of our strong semi sweet CHARCOAL PELLETS, or 100% Hardwood: TENNESSEE RED OAK or HICKORY Pellets (softer Pellets go out a bit) on the side of your Smoker Grill, with the open end facing you, and start the end on fire for 1 min with a gas Blowtorch or our FIRE ROD, it should then smolder slowly sequentially for 6hrs to the other end. Our BIG-M SMOKER MAZE creates extra smoke for 14hrs with Charcoal Pellets or 18hrs with Hardwood Pellets.

Lumberjack Pellets use a smaller diameter Pellet which prevents auger jams, creating less stress on your smoker’s auger. Moreover, a smaller pellet diameter leaves a larger surface area for the auger veins. Thus more pellets can fit on each vein allowing higher temperatures. This is because with each turn of the auger, more pellets can be pushed through the veins.

By having a smaller diameter, pellets will also burn much cleaner. As many Pitmasters have stated, Lumberjack pellets leave lower volumes of ash in your smoker’s pot than most pellets that contain bark. This can be attributed to the higher temperatures achieved when burning.
